Designed for Colorado. Built to Last.
Residential Landscaping Services
Site Development
For new construction and major renovations, we handle full site development including rough grading, drainage infrastructure, subcontractor coordination, and preparation for all subsequent landscape phases.
Irrigation
We design and install smart irrigation systems including drip emitters, zone controls, and water-efficient rotors sized precisely for your plant material and soil conditions.
Pergolas and Outdoor Structures
Custom-built pergolas, shade structures, and outdoor rooms that extend your home’s living space into the backyard. We design these as integrated elements of the landscape, not afterthoughts.
Grading and Drainage
Proper grading is the foundation of a healthy landscape. We assess and reshape your site to direct water away from structures, prevent erosion, and set up every other element of the project for long-term success.
Planting
We select Colorado-native and climate-adapted plants that thrive at Colorado Springs’ elevation and survive the region’s freeze-thaw cycles. Every planting plan balances seasonal color, drought tolerance, and year-round structure.
Hardscape, Pavers, and Concrete
From natural flagstone to engineered pavers and decorative concrete, we design and install hardscape that complements your home’s architecture and holds up through Colorado winters. Every surface is built on a properly prepared base.
Pools and Water Features
We design and install plunge pools and small-footprint pools scaled for Colorado Springs backyards. A plunge pool transforms a yard and adds significant property value with a fraction of the footprint of a traditional pool. From naturalistic boulder streams to formal fountains, we also design and install water features that bring movement and sound into your outdoor space.
Landscape Lighting
Professionally designed outdoor lighting extends the usability of your space after dark, adds security, and highlights the architectural and planting features of your landscape. We use low-voltage LED systems designed for Colorado’s climate.
Artificial Turf
Premium artificial turf installation for areas where natural grass struggles, including high-traffic zones, shaded areas, or properties under water restrictions. Our installs look natural year-round with no irrigation or maintenance required.
Our Colorado Springs Landscaping Process
From landscape design and xeriscape installation to paver patios, retaining walls, and irrigation — we handle every phase of residential landscape construction in Colorado Springs.

Lot size, homeowner association requirements, and specific needs of the client are just a few of the many variables that impact the cost of a landscape installation. However, the average cost of a new construction, residential landscape design and installation is approximately 8-12% of the home purchase price. For example, a $750,000 home would cost between $60,000 and $90,000 for a complete landscape design and installation.
Fisk Lawnscapes has a $15,000 landscape installation minimum for all projects.

A professional design will save you time and money as well as creating a landscape masterpiece that will last for years to come. In the same way that it’s hard to build a house without blueprints, it’s hard to install a landscape without a quality design. We consider many facets of a landscape as we design including: location of windows, drainage flows, shade, sun, and slopes, along with many other items. Additionally, most new home projects require a landscape design because it must be approved by an HOA.

Fisk Lawnscapes includes a three-year workmanship warranty.
For planted material, Fisk Lawnscapes offers a comprehensive one-year warranty. This warranty covers delivery, fertilizer, installation, drip emitter checks, haul away, and disposal. However, clients are responsible for the retail cost of any replacement plant materials. To ensure accurate plant evaluations, we conduct assessments upon request after June 15th, allowing time for late-emerging plants to fully develop. Please note that this warranty is valid only if bi-weekly winter watering has been consistently performed.

Our design team will work with you on all aspects of the project, though each project varies in scope and home owner desire for involvement.
Typical design process includes concept sketches (which we utilize both hand drawn and computer drawn plans), final designs, visits to the nursery for plant selection, visits to our office or vendors for material selection, and multiple design consultations. Scaled planting and hardscape layouts, irrigation plans, 3D renderings and more are typical of our higher-end projects.

-
Absolutely. We assess and incorporate existing elements, such as hardscapes or trees, into your new design to save you money and preserve character. Often times when working with existing landscapes, there are more unknowns or limitations (such as irrigation, underground utilities, and site access) that we have to work around, which can increase cost. Preserving mature trees or historical elements of the home are worth that additional work.

We provide guidance post‑installation—irrigation schedules, pruning tips, fertilization ranges, and seasonal cleanups to sustain long‑term health and appearance.
-
We prioritize native and drought‑tolerant plants well‑adapted to Colorado Springs’ elevations, soil, sun exposure, and water restrictions. This ensures performance and resilience through all seasons.
-
Planning for a landscape project should happen as soon as possible, even if your home is being built or even in the design phase! This allows us to give you the best experience, collaborate with the builder on layout, be more cost effective, and ensure that your vision is realized. Prime installation months are April - November, with the weather being variable to unworkable in the winter. These spots do fill quickly, so starting the design process sooner helps ensure the quickest and most ideal time for installation.
