Hardscape Services for Colorado Springs Properties
Paver Patios & Natural Flagstone
Natural flagstone brings a timeless, organic character that looks like it belongs in the Colorado landscape. Concrete pavers offer more design flexibility, with a wide range of shapes, colors, and laying patterns that suit everything from contemporary to traditional.
Retaining Walls & Terracing
Sloped yards are a reality across Colorado Springs. We build structurally sound retaining walls using boulders, natural stone, and wall block to prevent erosion, level unusable terrain, and add architectural depth to your property. Every wall is designed for the specific load, drainage, and slope of your site — not a one-size template — and built to hold for decades.
Outdoor Kitchens & Fire Pits
Colorado evenings cool off fast, even in summer. A custom gas or wood-burning fire feature extends your outdoor season well into fall and gives your backyard a natural gathering point. We build fire pits and outdoor fireplaces to Colorado code, integrated seamlessly into your existing patio or landscape design.
Our Process
When it’s done right, your backyard doesn’t feel like a project. It feels like an extension of your home.
That’s what we build.
How We Build It
We design and build complete outdoor living spaces in Colorado Springs. Every project is planned as a cohesive space, not a collection of features, so your yard is functional, usable, and built to last.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Your hardscaping questions, answered!
-
Paver patio costs in Colorado Springs typically range from $15 to $50 per square foot installed, depending on the paver material, site preparation required, and project complexity. A 400 sq ft patio might range from $6,000 to $14,000. Natural flagstone projects can run higher depending on stone selection and site conditions. We provide detailed, itemized quotes.
-
Colorado’s freeze-thaw cycles are hard on poured concrete. Stamped and colored concrete is prone to cracking, flaking, and color fade within a few winters. Pavers, because they’re individual units with joints, flex naturally with ground movement and can be individually replaced if needed. They hold up significantly better in Colorado’s climate over the long term, which is why they’re our preferred patio material.
-
It depends on the project. In Colorado Springs, retaining walls over 4 feet in height generally require a building permit. Most patio installations do not. HOA communities like Flying Horse, Wolf Ranch, or Kissing Camels may also require their own design approval. We factor all of this into our design process and handle the details on your behalf.

Actually, year round! It’s one of the few things that can also be installed during the winter, which frees up time to install plants during the warmer season.
